It is a state in northeastern India known for its wildlife, archaeological sites and tea plantations.

Duration: 8 nights / 9 days

Day 01 : ARRIVAL PHUENTSHOLING

We will pick you up from Guwahati airport/railway station and drive you to Phuentsholing. After you reach Phuentsholing you will check in to hotel Namgyal. Try tasting there local cuisines which you will definitely enjoy.

You will be spending your night in a beautiful hotel Namgyal.

Day 02 : PHUENTSHOLING - THIMPHU

After having your breakfast we will make your permits ready and we will take you towards Thimpu, the capital town of Bhutan and the centre of government, religion and commerce. It is a unique city with unusual mixture of modern development alongside ancient traditions.

After you will reach Thimpu you can explore Thimphu to appreciate the Buddhist culture, Ethnic architecture of the Dzong and palaces, Traditional and the lifestyle of the Drukpas in this peaceful Himalayan Kingdom and over night at Thimphu.

Day 03 : THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING - PARO

After having breakfast we will take you to visit Memorial Chorten which was built in 1974 to honor memory of Late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, popularly known as the Father of Modern Bhutan. And you will also visit Chang Gankha Monastery (one of the oldest monastery in the valley).

You will also be visiting National Zoo where you can see Takin, the National wild animal of Bhutan and drive up to view point and take a hike beyond to see the clear picture of Thimphu Valley and you can also visit National Library (collection of holly scripts).

After that we will take you for a visit to Kuensel Phodrang which is the world’s largest sitting Buddha statue; the statue is 167 feet high. The statue is situated on top of a hill overlooking the city of Thimpu, It can be accessed by road and is about 15 minutes away from the city's center. The word Kuensel means everything is clear, and from this place you can enjoy a great view of the Thimphu Valley on both sides.

If you are interested in the arts and crafts you can also visit the school where you can see young children at work (also known as the painting school), we will also take you for a visit to traditional medicine Institute and you will be surprised to see that the ancient healing arts are still practiced in that institute. Later we will take you to observe traditional paper making from Daphnia and Edgeworthia shrub to the finished product and you can also purchase some beautiful writing sets from the factory.

We will also take you through the downtown Thimphu on foot visiting handicrafts emporium and other arts & crafts stores. You can also buy stunning kiras which can be used as bed covers or wall decoration, jewelleries and many more. And after these we will drive you towards Paro.

After you reach Paro you will check in to hotel. You can spend your evening in leisure. You will spend over night at Rema resort..

Day 04 : PARO SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast you will visit to Ta Dzong which is a circular fortress that once protected the valley from the Tibetan invasion. It is now National Museum with an excellent collection of Bhutanese antiquities. Then will take you for a short drive to the Paro Rinpung Dzong which was built and consecrated in 1646 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. This Dzong is also the administrative seat of district of Paro and it also contains a state monastic community of about 200 members

In the afternoon we will drive you up to visit Drugyel Dzong which is located upstream to the end of the paved road. And on the way back from Drugyel Dzong we will take you to visit `Tigers Nest `base camp & kichu monastery. Your evening will ends with a walk through the Paro`s main shopping district. The local shops sell a verity of goods- groceries, textiles as well as prayer flags which you can take back home as memory.

You will return back to your resort and you can spend your night there after having your dinner.

Day 05 : PARO – GUWAHATI – KAZIRANGA

After breakfast we will drive you to Paro airport for onward journey towards Guwahati (Assam). Once you reach Guwahati Assam it will be late evening so we will drive you towards kaziranga where you will check in to hotel. Your evening time will be in leisure.

You will be spending your night at JB Resorts.

Day 06 : KAZIRANGA

Early morning after you wake up we will take you for safari on Elephant back. After you finish your elephant safari you will have your breakfast.

Later we will take you for a Jeep safari inside Kaziranga National Park (central/western Range). And after lunch we will take you for a visit to Orchid museum. Your evening time will be in leisure. You will come back to your resort and spend your night there.

Day 07 : KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI

After your breakfast you will check out from the resort and if time permits we will take you for a visit to Balaji Temple. Later we will take you to Guwahati and you will check in to landmark hotel. You will be spending your night there.

Day 08 : Explore Guwahati

After your breakfast we will take you for Guwahati sightseeing we will take you for a visit to Kamakhya Temple, Umananda Temple, War memorial, Nehru Park, Assam State Museum, Guwahati Planetarium. After your tour we will take back to your hotel.

You will be spending your night in landmark hotel.

Day 09 : DEPARTURE

After breakfast, we’ll drive you to Guwahati airport/ railway station. We hope you take back happy memories and await your return for another exciting trip with us.

Kindly note that according to the Nadai in Temple Timings the visits of order may vary. But all the temples will be covered within stipulated date and timings.

The package is inclusive of:

1. 01 AC Swift Dzire/Hiace/Create vehicle as per itinerary (AC will not operate in Hills).

Booking Policy

Online Booking: You can purchase our services from our sales outlets at Bangalore or Chennai, or you can book your tour/services / payment online through our website. Our website provides the facility making online booking of tours and services. After confirmation in written from us via Email or by in writing.

Booking Amount

For the services contracted, a minimum deposit of 30% of the total cost is to be paid by you to Ravel Roads. The advance is required to hold the booking on confirmed basis.

Balance Payment

The full balance payment is to be paid 10 days prior to the date of start of services. Any booking made within 10 working days of the date of services would be considered as a late booking and for same the full and final payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Note: Apart from above, in case of bookings for special train journeys, hotel or resort bookings during the peak season (Christ-mas, New Year) full payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Payments: All payments are to be paid in behalf of Ravel Roads.

How to Pay:

International payments

1. By Bank transfer to our bank (Bank Details)

2. By Online Payment Gateway through Razor Pay.

In case of payment through credit card, the bank charges (3% extra) – would be levied over and above the total amount.

Note:

1. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction.

2. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.


Cancellation / No show / Early Departure Policy:

In case of cancellation of tour or travel services due to any reason, you are requested Please inform us in writing or by Email. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows:

Cancellation charges for any mode of transport ticket are applicable as per the rules of the concerned authority.

Air ticket issued on special fare are non-refundable and the guest shall bear cancellation charges.

Group Tours

1. If the reservation is cancelled 30 days prior to the date of arrival – 90% may be refunded (except the transaction charges).

2. If the reservation is cancelled 15 days prior to the date of arrival – 50% may be refunded (except the transaction charges) .

3. If the reservation is cancelled 07 days prior to the date of arrival – 25% may be refunded (except the transaction charges).

If the cancellation is any later than the above stated period or in case of ‘No Show’- No Refund.

No refund or any changes will be accepted at last minute for tour starting or after starting or middle of the tour.

Individual Tours (FIT Tours)

Cancellation policy of Individual tours is subject to changes. It depends upon the cancellation policy of the respective hotels and other service operators your tour is associated with. Different hotels and service operators have different cancellation policies which we are required to abide by. In the unfortunate event of cancellation of trip by guests, we would charge 10% of total booking amount as processing charges +the charges levied by the corresponding service providers.

The itinerary may have changed. The products and services displayed may have changed. The photos of meals/sightseeing are for reference and may differ from the actual meals/sights. Distance between places and temperatures are approximate and can change depending on travel, road conditions and climatic changes.

Itinerary may change at any time

we reserve the right to alter, amend, change or modify the tour package and itineraries before or during the tour. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly of such changes as and when they are made.

Such changes may be necessitated due to factors beyond our control such as Force Majeure events, strikes, fairs, festivals, sport events, weather conditions, traffic problems, overbooking of hotels/flights, cancellation / re-routing of flights or railway, closure of / restricted entry at a place of sightseeing.

Generally, we try to avoid dates when big Fairs, Exhibitions and other events are held in certain cities as hotels are fully booked several years ahead.

If you have to travel on such dates, you may have to stay in alternate hotels or hotels in other cities.

We will make reasonable efforts to keep the overall package of services unchanged. However,

We shall not be liable to refund any amount or pay any compensation on account of any change in itinerary.
